STRIDER Bikes Rule - Video Contest Winners!

With 62 entries from 16 countries we had a very tough time narrowing it down to the top 10 winners! There were two categories, Strider Staff Pick and People's Choice, with 5 winners in each. With over $20,000 in cash and prizes up for grabs we had a tough time picking the top 5 for the Staff Picks from all of the amazing videos. The film makers did a great job getting the word out as well! There were over 48,000 views on YouTube in less than one week. Wednesday, May 6th- The City of Rapid City, hosted by the Parks and Recreation Department, Presented Strider’s own Marty Martinez for the Commuter of the Year Award. In honor of National Bike Month the city holds an annual Bike to School Competition. Despite the rainy conditions, 76 students participated in the event. R.I.P. Chance

  Strider lost a great friend and long time familiar face around the office this week. If you've ever been to STRIDER HQ there is a good chance you've met Chance Chance was a rescue dog who became Joe McFarland's (STRIDER Co-owner) best friend and constant companion. He was the building greeter. Planting himself in the lobby waiting for somebody to arrive hopefully with a treat in hand or at least a scratch on the head.
