  • My son cooper absolutely loves his bike. He wakes up wanting to ride and will go forever if you let him. The STRIDER has changed the way on learning to ride and balance on two wheels. He is super talented and we can't wait for next year's nationals. If you plan on having your kid ride a bmx bike or motocross bike, a strider is definitely a must. Where were these STRIDERS 25 years ago. Now it's time for sponsorships.

  • The Strider bike is amazing!

I bought one for my son 4 years ago. At 18 months old I figured he wasn't ready, but would eventually ride it. Boy was I wrong. My son grabbed it the day I brought it home and started pushing it around. Within a month he was coasting down the hallway with it. Because of the Strider he was riding motorcycles at age two with no training wheels and had he first motocross race at age three. Now at five years old he is tearing up the motorcross track and the BMX track, but it gets better.
My 17 month old daughter has discovered the Strider in the garage and now claims it as hers. She took her first real steps on it this weekend. I couldn't be prouder.

Thank you Strider for the great memories, the ones to come and for putting an end to the dreaded training wheels. We are one of your biggest fans her in Southern California and refer you to everyone with little kids that can.

  • I have bought 4 STRIDER bikes for my grand childern. My third grandson got his for his 1st Christmas, he was 11 months old. He really started riding it about 6 months ago. He was in his first STRIDER BMX race at 27 months old. He's 2.5 yrs old and this morning my son sent me a video of him riding his 2 wheel pedal bike. My oldest grandson was riding a regular bike at 3. The STRIDER bike is absolutely amazing. The quality of the bike is outstanding. I can't say enough about how happy I am with the strider bike.

  • My grandson is not even 3 years old yet but he rides his STRIDER with the older kids in the neighborhood and keeps up just fine!! He absolutely loves it!

  • My son received this as a gift for his 2nd birthday. He was initially timid, but enjoyed walking around the yard with his new bike. The following year, in the spring prior to his 3rd birthday, he began to get the hang of the STRIDER and was using it every day.

Now, after about 3 months of cruising around the neighborhood, he asked for a "real" bike with pedals. We were a bit hesitant, thinking he was still too young (3 years, 3 months). However, on his FIRST attempt, he pedaled down the sidewalk (without training wheels) about 75 feet.

The STRIDER is AWESOME and we recommend it to any parent who wants to avoid training wheels and the hassle involved in trying to teach balance on a pedal bike.

Thanks for such a great product!!!

  • I purchased 2 bikes for my boys. 2yrs and 4yrs.

After 4 months (the summer) My oldest is already going down hills balancing!!!!!!

    Balance Bikes, STRIDER, is awesome!!!!

  • Zabel is a fearless guy and is still riding his strider about 3 hours a day. He rides at the pump track in Frisco, Co and can keep up with just about anyone out there. Zabel's dad built him some ramps and man can he catch some air with his STRIDER. He has an instagram account which is zabelrocksinsummit. Check out his pics and all of his followers. He is known as crazy toddler on the green bike up here. Thanks again for making such an awesome product. We are not looking forward to him growing up and transitioning from his STRIDER to a pedal bike. :-(

  • I purchased a strider bike for my sons 2nd birthday in june and i can't get him off it! He loves to ride it in the house, in the garden and in the park. Gramps loves it too when they go walking together he doesn't have to push a pram as Lucas is on his strider and can keep up a good pace!

Best birthday present ever in my eyes!!
There should be more retailers in the UK though!

  • After just two weeks my 3 year old is already coasting! My 19 month old can't wait to get her own. This bike is just great!

  • My son was Striding at 1.5 years of age and last weekend (a month before he turned 3) he took off on a little mountain bike (with pedals)! He hasn't had a crash yet and he pedaled 4 miles on his second day on the bike - his balance is amazing!

He also just recently took up riding a scooter and I am sure the ease with which he learned that was also from Striding...

  • I bought the Strider as an investment for my three children. All my kids' friends' parents are amazed that my 4yo can ride a two wheeler without training wheels. Since she learned so fast, we leant the bike to a few families to use until the baby is ready for it. In my neighborhood, I am your best marketing investment!!

  • Outstanding ....my four-year-old refuses to ride anything other than his Strider.
He is riding it on the professional BMX track at Whittier Narrows California.

  • My son started with a strider at 18 months old. At 3 years and 5 months old we put him on a pedal bike and he took off!! He now rides both but prefers to race his strider at our local track. I've attached our latest race video where he got 1st place! Striders are amazing!!!!

  • I purchased a Stider for our then 15 month old son and was a bit skeptical but with a little nudge from a friend (who had already seen them in action) I figured it was worth a try. It was nothing short of amazing to watch him the first time he figured out that he could pick up his feet and let the bike glide. Our son is now 2 years old and has been riding a pedal bike with no training wheels for a couple of months. All thanks to his Strider. Simply amazing.
    Thanks, Richard

  • I have had my five year old on a strider for about 6-8 months last year. We tried the training wheels and they did nothing for him. then my 2 year old daughter got a strider and my son wanted one too so i bought him one. Today was the very first day of him on a 2 wheel bike and he picked it up and it was less than 2 minutes and he was riding a bike. no training wheels and not just for a short distance but all the way down the street and back turning corners no problem and not falling at all since he already knew to just put his feet down. My now 3 year old girl is almost ready for her own 2 wheeler and i cannot thank you guys enough, I never had to train him at all. he just got it. There was no falling and no crying. There was no fear that he had to overcome to get back on the bike and best of all, he is soooo proud of himself because he did it all by himself. THANK YOU STRIDER FOR MAKING THE BEST BIKE EVER. I WILL RECCOMMEND THIS FOR THE REST OF MY LIFE. DO NOT GET TRAINING WHEELS. THEY ARE A WASTE OF TIME AND MONEY. JUST BUT A PRE BIKE. best money ever spent

  • It took my son a bit of time to get the action of striding... but once he did (at 3 yrs or so), he was thrilled. It became his favorite mode of transportation. And, this spring, while he was just 3 yrs 9months, he got on a two wheeler and rode as if he's been doing it all his life. My husband did not believe when I had told him no training wheels necessary - that's the point of the Strider! And indeed, it was amazing. Thank you for your wonderful product.

  • We bought this for my 3 year old for Christmas... since it was winter she couldn't do much with it although we took in the basement a few times. But WOW this spring we took it out and she fell in love with it. I was worried that she wouldn't want to ride it because it didnt have a trunk like her little tricycle, but no way. It took her a few days to get the right idea and then BOOM she was off. She was always begging to go out and bike! The other day I picked up a little bike at a garage sale for $5, took off the training wheels and thought that there was no way my 3 year old would be able to ride it. I wasn't even paying attention/helping her and within 20 minutes she was riding a regular bike! No tears, no fear of me letting go, no fear of tipping over, because she already knows how to balance and knows how to get back in control when she feels unstable! I LOVE LOVE LOVE strider bike! It makes learning how to bike fun and not frustrating for kids or parents! THANK YOU!

  • My daughter learned to ride iusing the Strider n a week. My son still was struggling to learn after two years with training wheels. When he saw his little sister go past on her Strider, he wanted one! This works. Kids feel confident. I cannot thank you enough.

  • I bought a st-2 KTM for my 16 month old son, he is now 18 months old and gliding everywhere going very fast. I do mean fast enough that I really have to run to catch him. He loves to ride his bike over everything, but his favorite thing is going through puddles (the deeper the better). This means a lot of trips home from the park in nothing but a new diaper, due to his clothes being soaked!! But he absolutely loves to do it and everyone at the park seems to get a kick out of it too. This is BY FAR the BEST MONEY I EVER SPENT ON A TOY. I have to admit I was somewhat apprehensive about the foam tires, but now wouldn't have it any other way. They are great. Thanks Strider!

  • Bought a Strider online for son for Christmas. He was 22 months old. Learned within an hour how to balance without touching the ground. In no time he was "going fast" (according to him) down hills, jumping, crashing...having a blast. Got him a pedal bike for his 3rd Birthday. He IMMEDIATELY wanted the training wheels off which I refused since he was only 3, and worried about him. He begged, begged, and at 3 YO 2 months, took the training wheels off. UNDER 5 minutes and only two bouts of chasing him down the sidewalk, he was riding a pedal bike with ease! Amazing. Neighbors cannot believe such a small kid can ride a bike (nor other kids) I am a proud dad watching him ride his bike. He still enjoys riding the Strider too! GREAT product!
