Strider Adventure-Cross

Sept. 23, 2023 | Bentonville, Arkansas

Strider Adventure-Cross is set to take over the Square in downtown Bentonville!

Strider Adventure Cross logo

The Strider Adventure-Cross race is a unique Strider take on a Cyclocross race but with a few fun twists! Open to 14x riders ages 4–6 years old, it combines running, riding in balance bike mode, and pedaling all in one awesome race!

This is a test of endurance and skill with a longer course that covers a wide variety of obstacles including tires, the noodle monster, the dragon, a tunnel, and Mount Scary Ramp! There are four stages in this dynamic race, one of which includes a pit stop where a guardian attaches the pedal kit to the 14x so the racer can pedal power through the finish line. An epic day for both racer and spectator, the Strider Adventure-Cross should be on the top of every rowdy toddler’s bucket list.

This race is open to racers age 4-6 years old on Strider 14x bikes. The race is broken up into classes for 4, 5, and 6-year-olds. The different classes will each race at separate times. Unlike some of our other races, this is a race of endurance over a longer period of time and skill a lot like a Cyclocross race! It will be a somewhat difficult course so please be sure that your racer is up for this challenge.

No Strider 12″ bikes are allowed due to this particular race format. Check out the Strider Cup for races that include the 12″ Strider Bike.

Registration is limited and closes at noon CDT on Friday, Sept. 22, or when all positions are filled. There will be no race-day registrations allowed.

Registration is now open via Eventbrite!

Event Schedule

Friday, September 22
4:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. → Packet Pickup and Tech Inspection

Saturday, September 23
2:30 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. → Packet Pickup and Tech Inspection
6:30 p.m. – 7:30 p.m. → Adventure-Cross race

Prior to racing, all bikes must pass a tech inspection by Strider Officials to ensure that they are properly maintained, properly fitted, in good working order, and in compliance with race rules.

We highly recommend attending packet pickup on Friday evening to allow sufficient time for inspection, attaching the number plate, reviewing the race day schedule and format, and getting answers to any other questions you may have to get your rider ready for race day. If you are unable to attend on Friday, inspections on Saturday open an hour before the start of racing.

FULL RACE RULES are available HERE.

This race is a rain or shine event. No refunds or exchanges. Tickets cannot be replaced or transferred to another race. To reference the Strider Event Weather Policy click HERE.
