    Saturday, June 19th, 2021

  • TIME

    9:00 AM – 2:15 PM CDT

Bentonville Bike Festival grounds | 1019 SE 8th St. | Bentonville, AR 72712

Online pre-registration is required for the 2, 3 and 4-year-old classes and online registration ends at 11:30 pm on Monday, June 14th. There will be no registrations after that time or on race day.

The Strider 12 race classes will be open to children 2-4 years old with races at each age level. The Strider 14x Sport race class is an open class race for 3 to 6-year-old racers. While the Strider 14x bike has a Pedal Kit, this race will be in balance bike mode only. See the rules link below for the 14x Race Rules. One big advantage of this particular racing class is that it allows your child the opportunity to race twice, once in the 3 or 4-year-old class on their 12″ Strider bike then again in the 14x Class. Two registrations would be required.

This race is for Genuine Strider Bikes only. No other balance bike brands are allowed to race.

Other event highlights include:

  • Strider Jersey for all registered racers
  • Free spectator admission
  • Open course riding when not being used for races

Race times are subject to change based on registrations.  Please check back just prior to race day.

All registrants will need to check in and go through a basic bike inspection before being allowed to compete. Racers can do this either Friday, June 18th, from 4:00-7:00 p.m., or on race day up to 1 hour before their race. While Friday’s Packet Pick-Up and Tech Inspection is not required, we strongly encourage it if possible as it gives us time to explain and discuss things in a calm, non-rushed environment. We will also use that time to answer questions and inform you about important times as related to your race class, how the “HEATS” (first race) and “MAINS” (second race) will work, and how the awards ceremony will flow.

During Packet Pick-Up and Tech Inspection, your child will receive their registration bag complete with a Strider jersey, assigned number plate, and other goodies. Your child’s bike will also be inspected to ensure compliance with our racing rules at this time. Any equipment concerns will need to be addressed before your child can race. For more information regarding Tech Inspection please read the Tech Inspection Overview.

This Strider Cup race is a rain or shine event. No refunds or exchanges. Tickets cannot be replaced or transferred to another race. Please review the Strider Event Weather Policy prior to registering.
