The Arlen Ness Double Down Charity Edition Strider Bike pays tribute to one of the best-known names in the motorcycle industry. Arlen Ness created custom motorcycles that inspired hundreds of thousands of riders around the globe. His red Strider was designed with the familiar “Custom A” that has adorned so many trend-setting designs, many that can be seen in the museum in Dublin, CA.
Donations from the purchase of this bike will go towards the Grand Multiple Myeloma Translational Initiative (Grand MMTI), an organization that assisted Arlen in his fight against blood cancer. The mission of AllKidsBike.org is to teach every child in America how to ride a bike in kindergarten PE class.
The All Kids Bike portion of the donation is earmarked to the Moorhead, MN School District, the small town where Arlen was born. Once Moorhead is fully funded, donations will be reserved for Dublin, CA area schools. With a direct $12,000 donation on Arlen’s name care of long-time business partner Polaris Industries, most of the schools are funded and with your support, Arlen’s legacy will live on with all Moorhead kids being exposed to the freedom and fun of being on two wheels, something that Arlen enjoyed every day he could.
