Strider is looking for a confident and detail driven person who is on the cutting edge of the latest digital trends, with a rich technical skillset to specialize in online brand enforcement and anti-counterfeiting efforts world-wide. The International Brand Protection Manager will work directly with the business development, marketing and legal departments to help maintain Strider’s strict policy against Intellectual Property violations. The ideal candidate will need to understand online ecommerce, be a brand expert and detailed in reviewing large sets of data to identify branded content and potentially problematic product listings. Candidates must be organized, assertive, have great communication skills (especially on the phone and via email), be comfortable using translation systems to communicate with other countries and be prepared to help make large contributions to the company’s ever-changing landscape. In addition to Brand Protection, this role may provide aid with hands-on IT oriented solutions that assist our entire staff do their jobs more efficiently.

Essential Functions:

• Review and monitor product listings from merchants on our global marketplace to help ensure the listings meet policy and company standards.
• Audit product listings flagged for IP or MAP violations and take action per Strider’s policies.
• Review and monitor online global marketplaces for unauthorized seller or fraudulent products.
• Communicate effectively with internal leadership to identify challenges and propose solutions for improvement.
• Communicate effectively with offshore and cross functional teams to monitor the brand in all digital realms.
• Follow up and monitoring of contract expectations regarding IP and company standards.
• Provide monthly reporting of digital presence and problems to leadership.
• Audit website and social media marketing efforts of International Strider Franchisees to assure brand promotion aligns with corporate standards.
• Manage 3rd party companies contracted to protect our IP and enforce brand protection.
• Manage 3rd party companies contracted for IT and Digital Security functions.

Beneficial Functions:

• Purchasing, installing, monitoring and maintaining all computer hardware for the company.
• Managing and overseeing the company’s networks & administration of Office 365 Licenses.
• Maintain records and reports of all computer activities such as backup and security functions.

Essential Qualifications:

Physical Demands:

• Must be able to lift, carry, and move items up to 30 lbs.

Location and Hours:

• This position is in Rapid City, SD
• Core/Collaborative office hours are Mon-Thurs 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Friday 8 a.m. to noon
• All employees will flex their daily start/end hours, outside of the core hours, as well as lunch breaks to fit their individual needs while hitting and maintaining a 40 hour work week.*
• Some travel and occasional support of weekend events should be anticipated.

Pay:

• $20-$29 per hour depending upon experience ($40,000 to $60,000 annually)
• This full time, non-exempt position reports to the Director of Business Development and qualifies for a full benefits package that includes paid sick leave, paid vacation, a 401K and profit sharing plan, health insurance and an extensive list of perks.
