We had so much fun in Charlotte at last year’s Strider Cup and our first ever Strider Discovery Ride, we thought, “Ya know what? How cool would it be to have the 2019 World Championship there?” So… we’re coming back to one of our favorite venues! Get ready for fun and racing at the NASCAR Hall of Fame, 400 E M.L.K. Jr Blvd, on October 4th and 5th, 2019. Strider Cup Races give kiddos a chance to put their Strider skills to the test at several stops across the United States and the world. This unique race series caters directly to children 2-6 years old who want to experience the thrill of racing. Children of all sizes and skill levels are welcome to participate.

Strider Cup Races are family-friendly race and play experiences designed to let little ones ages 2-6 years old explore the world on two wheels. The races offer the structure of an organized and competitive race in a fun and inviting atmosphere where family and friends are supportive of all riders.
In 2019, we have the Strider 12 race classes and the Strider 14x Sport race class. There will not be a 5-year-old class on 12" bikes in 2019.
The Strider 12 race classes will be open to children 2-4 years old. The Strider 14x Sport race class will be open to children ages 3-6 years old. If your little tater tot is 3 or 4 years old, they’re more than welcome to race on their Strider 12 Bike, and then race again in the 14-inch class on their Strider 14x bike. A second registration & fee would be required.
Coined the “Tour de France for Toddlers” by major news outlets, Strider Cup races are a must-experience event for the entire family. You’ve never seen anything like a Strider Cup race, and children will never forget the fun and excitement these Strider-exclusive events provide.
Online registration is required for the 2-, 3-, and 4-year-old Strider 12 classes, with online registration ending on October 1st at 8:00pm Eastern Standard Time. There will be no registrations after that time for these classes. No child shall be allowed to register for the 2-, 3-, or 4-year-old Strider 12 classes on race day or at Packet Pick-Up on Friday.
Registration for the 14x class can be made online up until October 1st at 8:00 pm Mountain Standard Time. After this time, registration for the 14x Class can only be made in person at the Packet Pick-Up on the Friday prior to race day.
Only one racer is allowed to register per form. To register multiple racers, repeat the registration process for each racer. If your racer is competing in both their age group (2-, 3-, or 4-year-old) in a Strider 12 Race, and the 14x Class, you will need to repeat the registration process twice, once for each of the race classes.
Friday's Packet Pick-Up and Bike (Tech) Inspection is mandatory. Please stop by Packet Pick-Up with your racer, Strider Bike, and helmet on any time between 3:30pm and 7:30pm on Friday, October 4th at the NASCAR Hall of Fame.
During this Packet Pick-Up and a simple Tech Inspection, your child will receive their registration bag complete with a Strider jersey, assigned number plate, and other goodies. Your child’s bike will also be inspected to ensure compliance with our racing rules at this time. For more information regarding Tech Inspection please read the Tech Inspection Overview.
Any concerns will need to be addressed before your child can race. Friday Packet Pick-Up and Tech Inspection is mandatory and gives us the opportunity to address any issues in a calm, non-rushed atmosphere and inform you as to what to expect on race day. We would also like to inform you about important times as related to your race class, how the "HEATS" (1st Race) and "MAINS" (2nd Race) will work, and how the awards ceremony will flow.
Please review our Weather Policy for all Strider Cup Races.
Racer families are responsible for their own parking. Paid parking available at the NASCAR Hall of Fame. If you park in their garage you will have to enter from E Stonewall St. up Brevard halfway. We'll have Brevard St. closed from the MLK Blvd side. Here are some other parking possibilities.
