Why doesn’t Strider build bikes for older kids?
Since the beginning, Strider’s focus has been giving kids a path to riding success as soon as possible. We’ve been innovating the learn-to-ride process for infants, toddlers, and preschoolers for nearly two decades and we’re not slowing down anytime soon. We’re sticking with what we know, and we’re letting experts in the next phase of riding do what they do best.
Why did you choose Kellys?
Some people live by the motto, “Don’t fix what ain’t broke,” but not us. The Kellys team goes above and beyond where most would say they have the final answer. They’re driven to build bikes that you can trust and depend on as much as a Strider bike — and because our riders are still Strider kids no matter how old they get, we knew we wanted to find all-terrain bikes that matched our own high standards.
Why aren’t these bikes more affordable?
Like all good things in life (not counting mother nature), quality doesn’t come cheap. In our years of searching for the best kids’ pedal bikes, we knew we wanted a better alternative to box store bikes — you know the ones: pre-assembled, poorly made, and built to appeal to kids without the geometry or features they need to succeed. Just like Strider, Kellys believes in building the best bikes for kids at the best price possible without sacrificing durability — because why shouldn’t kids’ bikes be built just as well as adults’?
Should I get a Kellys kids’ bike?
Does your child love to ride their bike? Are their independence and confidence important to you? Does your family ride bikes together? Do they aspire to race or participate in BMX events? If you’ve said “yes” to any of these, then you already know the answer! Kellys kids' bikes are the best next step after kids have grown too big for their Strider bike. These bikes are outstanding for both casual and advanced riding and offer as much dependable durability and value as a Strider does. We think every kid that’s ready to take their riding skills to the next level deserves a Kellys — but that’s just us.
Which Kellys bike should I get my child?
The right answer to this question can change a lot based on your child’s age, inseam, and riding skills. To start, we recommend reading the description and tech specs of each bike to see what might fit your kiddo based on their height, age, and skill level. Skill-wise, the NAGA Air Belt will be the most appropriate for younger riders who are ready for the next step after their Strider balance bike. This bike is designed to keep things simple, with low-maintenance needs and an automatic 2-speed internal hub that shifts for them.
The NAGA Air 50 is a skill level up and the ideal choice for kids who have more confidence, are ready to start using gears, and are ready to start taking off-road adventures.
The NAGA Air 70 Disc has an 8-speed drivetrain for smooth, precise shifting that will let your rider go faster and over more intense terrain. This model comes in the same sizes as the Naga Air 50 but has a little more power for serious riders ready to advance their skills.

Are these Strider bikes?
No; these are not Strider bikes or balance bikes at all! Unlike our 14x bike, these larger kids’ bikes are not convertible and are intended to be the next step after kids have gotten too big for balance bikes. Kellys kids’ bikes are rugged pedal bikes that give kids six and up a great ride that’s ready for pavement and trails. Their quality is the same as you would expect from a well-built adult bike with superlight aluminum frames, smooth TEKTRO brakes, and kid-specific components that are just as good as the real deal.
Why is Strider selling Kellys kids’ bikes?

We chose Kellys as the next step because they’re driven to build bikes that you can trust and depend on as much as a Strider bike — and because our riders will always be Strider kids no matter how old they get, we knew they deserved all-terrain bikes that matched our own high standards.
Can I put training wheels on these bikes?
Why would you want to? We will never, ever recommend or sell training wheels because we’ve seen firsthand the damage they do to kids’ skills, learning, and confidence. At Strider, we’re a “Balance First” company that has seen over 10 million kids’ lives transformed by learning to ride without tricycles, scoot toys, or training wheels.

What is your return policy?
Strider does not pay for shipping on returns. Strider can only accept products that were purchased directly from our online store, including Kellys kids’ bikes.
Here are the steps to follow:
1. Have your Sales Order ready when you contact Customer Service via phone or email.
2. You will receive an RMA (Return Merchandize Authorization) from our team, then clearly mark it on the returned package — otherwise, we won’t know who to refund!
3. Ship the product back to Strider Headquarters using the carrier of your choice. Insurance is encouraged. Strider does not provide return labels or pay for return shipping costs.
4. Patiently wait for the refund to your original payment method.

Is assembly difficult?
Before you unpack your child's Kellys bike, our first recommendation is to contact your nearest local bike shop. Many shops offer full assembly or assistance, and they’re just as excited as we are to get your little buddy out into the world on two wheels. Bike shop workers also have hands-on, expert knowledge and will know exactly how to help you and get your bike assembled right the first time.
What do I do if something breaks?
Good news: All Kellys frames have a two-year warranty! If something happens to break or malfunction on your child's Kellys bike, please contact our Customer Service team to explain the problem and then be ready to submit photos and/or videos to our Warranty form.
