Online registration is required for the 2-, 3-, and 4-year-old Strider 12 classes, with online registration ending on July 4th at 8:00 pm Mountain Standard Time. There will be no registrations after that time for these classes. No child shall be allowed to register for the 2-, 3-, or 4-year-old Strider 12 classes on race day or at Packet Pick-Up.
Registration for the 14x class can be made online up until July 4th at 8:00pm Mountain Standard Time. After this time, registration for the 14x Class can only be made in person at the Packet Pick-Up on the Friday prior to race day or on race day up until one hour prior to the scheduled 14x race.
Only one racer is allowed to register per form. To register multiple racers, repeat the registration process for each racer. If your racer is competing in both their age group (2-, 3-, or 4-year-old) in a Strider 12 Race, and the 14x Class, you will need to repeat the registration process twice, once for each of the race classes.
Please bring the electronic or printed tickets that you receive upon completing registration to Packet Pick-Up.
Packet Pick-Up and Bike (Tech) Inspection
All registrants will need to pick up their registration bags and go through a basic bike (Tech) inspection before being allowed to compete. Racers can do this either Friday, July 5th or on race day up to 1 hour before the race. While Friday's Packet Pick-Up and Tech Inspection is not required, we strongly encourage it if possible as it gives us time to explain and discuss things in a calm non-rushed environment. Packet Pick-Up on Friday July 5th will be located at The Trailhead at Theodore Wirth Regional Park (1221 Theodore Wirth Parkway) from 5:00pm to 7:00pm. We will also be conducting a "Tech Inspection" both then and on race day.
During this Packet Pick-Up and a simple Tech Inspection, your child will receive their registration bag complete with a Strider jersey, assigned number plate, and other goodies. Your child’s bike will also be inspected to ensure compliance with our racing rules at this time. For more information regarding Tech Inspection please read the Tech Inspection Overview.
Any concerns will need to be addressed before your child can race. Friday Packet Pick-Up and Tech Inspection gives us the opportunity to address any issues in a calm, non-rushed atmosphere and inform you as to what to expect on race day. We would also like to inform you about important times as related to your race class, how the "HEATS" (1st Race) and "MAINS" (2nd Race) will work, and how the awards ceremony will flow.
There will be Open Track after each Class race for the amount of time available up to 15 minutes before the next Class race. Typically there is time for a few laps but if the previous race goes runs long then there may not be. There will be Open Track during the lunch break.
